Ok so we all know how hard it is in the music industry right? For artists that are just starting out this is a section of my website for you. Boy are you in for a treat your going to get a ton of details of the music industry that quite simply are most times considered "trade secrets".  The industry is impossible to break into with out propper information. Think of it as a federal bank vault. If you dont have the combination you will soon learn it is almost impossible to crack. First things first you have the material you wrote, and you need to do something with it. If your an artist, and your interested in starting to record STOP. This is where you need to take some time. Don't make the mistake of running to the first studio you come across. You really need to take some time look in your local pages for Recording Studios. When you start calling you will find out there are a lot of studios out there. Even if its not a studio you were looking for see if they could refer you to where you need to go. Get your list together. Get samples from these studios folks. See if what they are doing is your style. Call them ask them to send you samples of there works. Once you Narrow the list down go meet with these guys. See how they operate see if maybe you can sit in on one of there sessions. From there get prices compare see what will be the best thing for you. You will spend your money here and its worth it. The only thing i can say is be ready to record you know just how you want it to sound so be ready practice so you can have your perfect session. This is your style you need to pick a beat that pops out at your. There are plenty of ways to get beats its not as hard as it used to be. Now you can spend a bunch of time and energy listening to beats from places like onebeatsource.com. There will be a lot of sorting through things. Do you want exclusive rights so its yours or just to use a beat and have the rights to use it. The cheaper way to go is to buy the rights to use it. Lets face it unless you have a record deal right now buying exclusive rights to material its crazy. Your not going to take it with you and if you do get signed trust me you will want to change something you will have money to work with. If you dont want to go this way you can always get it done for about 45 dollars per hour and get to sit in on your beats being made. There are a couple downfalls to this. One sometimes you want different styles. Sorry to say if you stay with the same engineer they fall into habbits and you wont have an original sounding album but an album that sounds similar in ways. There is so much information to talk about any one of the catagories im getting in to if you want more information please contact me and ill do everything i can to help you!
